Cater Wyoming

Yesterday I drove poorly defined dirt roads from I-80 to Carter Wyoming retracing my steps that Eric Moon and I drove one cold winter night in 1996. The road follows the mighty UP rails and is rank with washouts, antelope, wind and trains. Several washouts almost brought my forward progress to a stand still, but the thought of retracing my steps was too painful so I moved onward.

After about 11 miles, I hit the Ghost Town of Carter which musy have been quite a place 100 years ago. Old buildings, water town and hotel (which is for sale).

Thats all.
